Product Description The Strait-Line LL120 Is a high power surface mount manual line laser that works in brightly lit workplaces. Perfect for the DIY enthusiast, homeowners, and even professional contractors. Accurate to +/- 3/16'' at 20 feet, it's great for installing cabinets, suspended ceilings, shelving, or even trim and crown molding. The 635NM Laser Diode produces a high visibility line that is visible even in the most brightly lit conditions. The included 3M Command Adhesive strips allow you to wall or surface mount this line laser without damaging delicate finishes. The top side of the laser has traditional bubble style horizontal and vertical levels. The swiveling and tilting base provides a number of useful features to this line laser. The rotating index ring around the base allows you to project the laser at the angle of your choice. The tilting laser head adjusts the beam length to cover an area up to 60 feet. Requires 2AA batteries (not included)
Amazon.com Here's a laser level perfect for the homeowner or contractor who's hanging cabinets or shelving, installing suspended ceiling or flooring or just hanging artwork. It's compact, inexpensive and reliable. Strait-Line's 60-foot laser line can mark a 120-foot work area by swiveling the laser, and it's accurate to +/- 3/16" at 20 feet. Best of all, it leaves not a mark on your surface, unlike other laser levels we've seen that have pins on the back. Instead, just peel the strip of 3M Command Adhesive (be sure to affix the correct side to each surface) and place the level. For a horizontal line, just turn the unit until the bubble in the horizontal level is between the two lines. For a vertical line, keep your eye on the vertical level's bubble. Lengthening the line is a snap, accomplished just by changing the tilt angle on the mounting base up to 4 degrees. At its full length, the line isn't as bright as when it's projecting just a few feet, but even so, it's bright enough to work from. Hanging a wall border around a corner? No problem: The laser will round the bend for you. It's slick, fast, easy and fun. Our only complaints: It only comes with four Command Adhesive strips (so stock up) and the two AA batteries are not included. Other than that, it's a great little tool.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Works, but... August 24, 2010 Jenny I just received the laser level and it works fine, but the 3m adhesive that comes in the package will pull the paint off walls! Don't use the adhesive because it took the Benjamin Moore paint right off. Just a warning! Be careful!
great laser level at a great price August 20, 2010 Loggerdude2003 Prodeuct arrived package3d well, no damage from shipping. Easy to read and understand instructions, easy to use on my project also. Only wish there were more of the adhesive strips to hold it in place when using it tho...made do with 2 sided tape and that worked just fine for me. Easiest the cheapest laser level i can find price wise...appears to be well made. Haven't used it enuff to rate the power consumption yet. Definately happy with my purchase, would highly reccomend this to any homeowner who needs one.

Mine broke after being dropped twice from a height of about 4 feet. Sucks, but I didn't pay much for it. Difficult to mount to walls repeatably.
Tool April 3, 2010 Stephen S. Connaway (wichita, ks. usa) I was disappointed in this level. It has to be hung on the wall to work. The manufacture sent four putty picture hangers with the unit so it could be hung without nails. Not a good design. If you hammer or use a hammer drill guess where the laser level ends up. You got it right on the floor.
Good tool. February 6, 2010 W. Eppick (Washington State) This is a very useful tool, but in a way not shown on the advertising. I use it as a laser chalk line. While its line width isn't ideal, I can approximate the center of the line with my pencil. I just make a series of marks on the board that needs a straight edge then join the marks with my longest straight edge.
