Saw this as a factory reconditioned and was about to replace the kitchen floor with ceramic. I thought this would be a useful tool. It was great. Easy to use and powerful. Great flush cuts. Note buy some extra blades. HD does not carry, Loews does.

Every weekend project tool box needs one of these. While installing new flooring I really wanted to slide the new floor covering under the edge of the door jambs rather than having to trim the floor to match the door trim. The new flooring ranged from vinyl to ceramic tile to 3/4 inch hardwood. What a time saver and a neat job. Initially I went for economy (sometimes known as cheap) and bought one of the manual door jamb saws, it only took one or two cuts with it to convince me that an electric model was worth the extra price. The factory reconditioned unit worked great right out of the box. Would I recommend it to my friends and enemies - absolutely, at least to all my friends, I do not recall having any enemies.

Order arrived withing just a few days (regular shipping). I used this product for preparing the door frame in the bathroom that I was tiling and plan to use it as we replace carpet with wood laminate throughout the house. I saved so much time and hassle verses using a hand saw that I feel this product has paid for itself already. I would highly recommend this item and the reconditioned product works and looks just like new and saved a bundle.

I had some laminate flooring to install. I started out with one of the japanese style pull saws to shorten the door moldings around the rooms. I stumbled across this tool on Amazon and ordered one refurbished from Bosch.
It arrived in about 2 days.
It is a wonderful tool. Sure, you can use the pull saw and do nearly as well but this power saw makes the job go a lot quicker and the cuts are straighter. You can reverse the "hand" of the blade and cut to the left or rght. You can also just hand hold the saw and use it as a small power wood hack saw.
Great purchase.

If you install hardwood flooring or laminate flooring this saw is the best on the market. I have two other types but, this one is the best
